Overview​

App Bridge provides UI component library and communication capability.

By calling App Bridge, apps can display unified official components in the internal or at the top of SHOPLINE Admin, and communicate with the rest part of SHOPLINE Admin.

For example, App Bridge enables SHOPLINE Admin to represent the App and execute below actions:

• Open a certain menu and page within SHOPLINE admin.
• Redirect to the authorization page of an App.
• Create a dialogue box.

Reason for use​

Apps should use App bridge to leverage standard and approved components that are native to the SHOPLINE backend.

Using standardized components benefit the merchant user experience due to their familiarity and consistency within the SHOPLINE admin.
