# General commands

This article outlines the general commands in the SHOPLINE CLI.

## help{#U9hff}
You can view all available commands and their descriptions using any of the following commands:

```shell
sl help
sl -h
sl --help
```

Additionally, you can obtain help for a specific command using one of the following `help` commands:

```shell
sl [command] -h
sl [command] --help
```

## login{#qB5tv}
Use the following command to authenticate your session with the SHOPLINE CLI for the specified store.

```shell
sl login --store <STORE_DOMAIN>
```

### Parameters{#sdTKh}
| **Parameter** | **Required** | **Description** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| --store \<STORE_DOMAIN> | Yes | Specifies the store to log into. |


The `--store` parameter accepts the following inputs:

| **Type** | **Example** |
| --- | --- |
| `myshopline.com` website | <ul> <li>`example.myshopline.com`</li><li>`https://example.myshopline.com`</li></ul> |
| Store Admin URL | <ul> <li>`example.myshopline.com/admin`</li><li>`https://example.myshopline.com/admin`</li></ul> |


> **CAUTION**
>
> The CLI login only supports domains with `*.myshopline.com` and does not support custom domains.

## logout{#S2OSU}
Use the following command to clear login credentials. You will need to log in again the next time you connect to the store.

```shell
sl logout
```

## whoami{#WFgsH}
Use the following command to view the currently logged-in store.

```shell
sl whoami
```
