Overview
SHOPLINE POS is a mobile Point-of-Sale (POS) app that can be downloaded from the AppStore and Google Play. It is specifically designed for merchants to conduct face-to-face product transactions in offline stores, markets, and pop-up shops. The SHOPLINE POS seamlessly integrates with the SHOPLINE system, enabling a cohesive connection of products, orders, inventory, members, and other data across both online and offline resources. This integration helps merchants digitally transform, enhance operational efficiency, expand sales channels, and boost revenue growth.
The POS app mentioned in this article refers to a third-party app available on the SHOPLINE App Store, designed to provide additional offline sales features within the SHOPLINE POS for SHOPLINE merchants.
App integration with SHOPLINE POS
You can create POS Web extension links to direct merchants from a specific SHOPLINE POS section to your POS app. Refer to Create a Web extension for more information about how to create a Web extension link.
App interaction with SHOPLINE POS
SHOPLINE POS offers multiple locations for your app to display on the SHOPLINE POS interface, such as the workbench page or the shopping cart page. Select the appropriate display location based on your app functionality. Once configured, your app will appear on the designated location. For details on specific display locations and configuration instructions, refer to Create a Web extension.
Taking the SHOPLINE POS homepage workbench as an example, merchants can customize a shortcut grid in the workbench for quick access to common functions, such as applying discounts, registering customers, and checking product prices. If you integrate your app into SHOPLINE POS via a Web extension and select the homepage workbench as the display location, your app will appear as a shortcut grid cell on the workbench as shown in the following picture, allowing merchants to configure and use it quickly.
